How is my career planning information kept confidential?

All the information from your career planning appointments, the career questionnaires and your emailed summary is confidential to you. Your information is kept confidential by Smithells^®NZ and by your Smithells^® Professional.
If you choose to share your information with parents, other family members, a close friend or (for some clients) a partner or a close friend, ask them to keep it confidential.
Your Smithells^® Professional will keep a hard copy (paper) record of your information in secure storage for 10 years from the date of your last contact with him/her.
Smithells^®NZ will keep an electronic copy of your information stored in a secure database for 15 years from your first contact. Your records will then be permanently and securely deleted.
